Seed Collection
Palouse Prairie Native Species

Considerations
  1. be responsible in collecting seed (1 in 20 rule)
  2. collect a few seeds each from many plants rather than many seeds from a few plants
  3. store "dry" seeds (grass, forb) under dry conditions, at room temperature, in a paper bag
  4. store "wet" seed (berries) in moist conditions, sealed in a plastic Zip-Loc (R) bag, in the refrigerator
